Mold Growth on Wood Studs

In these photos you will see a before and after shot of the structural wood studs that initially had sheet-rock over them. This water damage occurred in Oradell, NJ where the sheet-rock of this finished basement was saturated with water leaving our technicians to remove them. Once removing them we found the mold growing behind on the studs. Our technicians were able to sand away the mold along with the use of a HEPA vacuum followed by an anti-microbial sealant in order to save the studs. This leaves the homeowner with one last material they needed to replace.
