Garfield Water Damage Cleanup Affects Multiple Rooms

The water heater in this Garfield home failed and dumped a large amount of water damage into the structure. SERVPRO technicians had to address the water cleanup across one level of the home and a total of eight rooms received the effects of the water. The technicians found damage done to the carpet, tile and the concrete/masonry slab required cleaning and drying. It is difficult to see the amount of damage to the home in the Before Photo, but the After Photo in the same area of the house tells the tale. The technicians have removed all the times from the room and performed flood cuts to halt any further wicking of moisture into the walls. The flooring and subfloor have also been removed and will require replacement due to the saturation from the water tank.
