Cresskill Bathroom Needs Fire Damage Cleanup

Sometimes the worst part of fire damage in a Cresskill home is not the actual flames but the smoke and soot left behind on walls and other surfaces. This bathroom had little loss in the way of charred building materials but needed extensive smoke damage mitigation. After testing the residues to determine the best cleaning methods, the techs used specialized cleaning solutions to lift away the smoke left behind on the counter, walls, shower area, and floor. The heaviest soot deposits were found on the upper part of the door, which SERVPRO technicians were able to restore to like-new condition as seen in the After Photo after the completion of cleanup and deodorization efforts.
