Harrington Park Basement Plumbing Water Damage Cleaning

The basement of this single-family Harrington Park home suffered a pipe-related water damage situation. SERVPRO took note of the heavily saturated carpet visible in the Before Photo. While this water can often be extracted without pulling up carpet, the moisture levels present necessitated pulling up the entire carpet in this recreational area, as well as some demolition of baseboards. 

The After Photo shows the results of this demolition. The baseboard removal extended to removing one of the forced-air heater covers, allowing technicians to focus on drying wall cavities and flooring with minimal additional removal of materials. Once techs have dried the area with air movers and dehumidifiers and sanitized it with EPA-registered biocides, SERVPRO can install new carpet, pad, and baseboards.
