Norwood Water Damage Affects Six Rooms

After a pipe burst in this Norwood property, water damage occurred in a total of six rooms that needed cleanup. Even though the homeowner brought in SERVPRO quickly after the incident to begin the restoration services on the home, a portion of the ceiling with saturated insulation had fallen on the hardwood floorboards. In the Before Photo, the floorboards had hinted that too much water exposure had happened as they cup and crown due to the water damage and the deteriorated ceiling that fell on the floor before the technicians arrived at the home. SERVPRO used their equipment to confirm that the subfloor required drying the floorboards needed removal. The After Photo also shows the extent of the wicking throughout the worksite and how much sheetrock and insulation needed to be removed through a controlled demo to dry the interior of the wall cavity fully.
