Clifton Garage Leak Needs Water Damage Cleanup and Mold Remediation

A plumbing issue in an attached garage in Clifton had issues with both water damage and mold growth on a wall under the electrical panel. The homeowner had done some light cleanup, but required more help. SERVPRO technicians used their extraction equipment to remove the water and the white streaks on the concrete substrate are called efflorescence and is the result of salts naturally occurring within the concrete coming to the surface during drying and it can get easily brushed away. The mold damage on the sheetrock required removal and as seen in the After Photo, the techs only removed the damaged portion and left the rest of the wall intact.
