Widespread Commercial Water Damage in Maywood Offices

This office in Maywood needed the help of SERVPRO to clean up and restore the property from commercial water damage that affected a large portion of the building. The water ran down the hallway and saturated the carpet and well as migrated behind the baseboards and wicked into the sheetrock. The techs needed to remove the baseboards during the extraction phase of the mitigation and cut off the ruined part of the sheetrock as seen in the After Photo. The techs removed the water from the carpet to make it easier to handle as it got taken out to dry the concrete slab underneath. These types of controlled demo actions assist in drying the property more rapidly.
